East Penn Soccer Club Welcomes Daria Warner as New Development Program Director

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Daria Warner as the new Development Program Director for East Penn Soccer Club. Daria brings a wealth of experience and an impressive track record to our club, and we couldn't be more excited to have her on board.

A Stellar High School and Collegiate Career

Daria Warner is a local talent who attended McDevitt High School before taking her soccer career to the next level at Cedar Crest College. During her time at Cedar Crest, Daria's accomplishments on the field were nothing short of remarkable.

2019: A Record-Breaking Year

  • CSAC Player of the Year
  • First Team All-Conference
  • ECAC First Team All-Conference
  • Started all 19 games
  • Broke multiple records:
  • Career goals
  • Career points
  • Most points in a single season
  • Most goals in a single season
  • Stats: 23 goals and 5 assists, totaling 51 points
  • Highlights:
  • Season high of four goals against Keystone on October 12
  • Three goals against Medaille, Wilson, and Clarks Summit
  • Accolades:
  • CSAC Honorable Mentions on October 7 and October 21
  • CSAC Player of the Week on October 14

2018: Continued Excellence

  • Played in all 18 games, starting 14
  • Stats: 15 goals and 1 assist, totaling 31 points
  • Highlights:
  • Four goals in the game against John Jay College on August 31

2017: A Strong Start

  • Played in all 17 games, making six starts
  • Stats: 13 goals and 26 points
  • Highlights:
  • Two goals in games against York College (September 3), Rosemont College (September 23), and Notre Dame of Maryland University (October 21)

Coaching Experience

Daria's leadership qualities and passion for the game extended beyond her playing years. From 2022 to 2023, she served as the assistant soccer coach for the women's team at Cedar Crest College. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in mentoring and developing players, contributing to the team's tactical strategies, and fostering a positive team culture.

Leading the Development Program

With her extensive playing experience and a deep understanding of the game, Daria is set to lead the East Penn Soccer Club's Development Program to new heights. Her dedication to the sport and her proven track record of success make her an ideal fit for nurturing young talent and guiding our players to achieve their full potential.

Daria's vision for the Development Program focuses on holistic player development, emphasizing technical skills, tactical understanding, and personal growth. She believes in creating a positive and inclusive environment where every player can thrive and reach their goals.

East Penn Soccer Club is proud to be hosting a New Referee clinic on Date: March 23, 2024. Time: 9:00 AM to 3 PM Location is our: East Penn Indoor Training Facility. All interested parties 14 years of age or older are welcome to participate. Successful completion of the course will allow the participants to be travel soccer referees. To register you MUST create an account at the Eastern Pennsylvania State Referee Committee website ( EPSARC.org ) and select East Penn training location after creating an account and during the registration process. *All online courses must be completed prior to being able to register for the in-person training. As stated above, successful completion of this course will allow applicants to register and become a travel soccer referee. Travel soccer referees are paid positions, click here for Referee Fees . Background clearances should be started as soon as possible. Certification and Badges will not be issued until these are completed and uploaded on your EPSARC account.
